Flockmod Air will not work on Mac

I wanted to get the FlockMod Desktop Version on my Mac but it cannot open or download at all because it needs a Microsoft Windows. I then searched for a Mac version to download only to find none and then ended up here. The similar questions I have found to have the Desktop Version be uploaded as Mac was: "Go download the FlockMod Air, it's similar to the Desktop Version." I immediately went and downloaded the FlockMod Air version but when I tried opening it, it said it needed an application to open it with! Please help... :(
