Standalone for all platforms and Converting from Flash

First off, I just want to make clear, I do not do coding or any web development. However I have some suggestions.

It would be really nice to have a Standalone for Mac, since Windows has one. I am not sure, but I believe there is no Adobe Air that works with Mac, which is probably why there is no Mac Standalone. Same issue for Linux.

Since .swf files are not going to be supported anymore in 2020... Is the original Flockmod files a .fla format? If so, would it be able to be open in Adobe Animate CC? Flash content can still be made, but would have to be converted into another readable format I think. Would it be able to be converted into HTML5 Canvas? I don't know if any of this stuff helps, but Newgrounds seems to be fine for now, and should be fine in 2020. But I worry that the multiplayer games may suffer.

It would be sad to see a community disband because of this nonsense. I worry for how html5 will run with a large community. Would it become slow in a span of 5 minutes? Not sure. Honestly I have no hope for HTML5 since it has been shown to be very laggy at times, with long loading times. It may be a choice of having to rebuild in another language and be focused on only a standalone... Having a web version makes it free for anyone to join and try out, but I am not sure how this will work. :(

Hopefully Adobe Air will not be need, so making a standalone can work on multiple platforms, and work on the web. But here are some links that could help with trying to overcome this.

Extending off rewb0rn's idea: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2298326 (Doubt Air will be around for long. And apparently AS3 could be iffy to work with...)

Moving away from rewb0rn's idea maybe: Converting AS3 to HTML Canvas: https://hemanthkumarr.wordpress.com/2013/12/19/converting-action-script-flas-to-html-canvas-flas-in-flash-pro-cc/
